2010 UK OPTICAL DESIGN MEETING
The 2010, i.e. the most recent, UK Optical Design Meeting (UKODM) was held at the Culham Centre for Fusion Energy, Culham Science Centre, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, OX14 3DB, 16 September 2010.   The meeting was a one day event allowing local attendees the convenience and economy of a one day excursion to the venue.  Optical design professionals, students and other interested persons were invited to attend.  Lunch was provided by Optical Research Associates.  Comar Instruments, Cambridge, UK provided additional meeting sponsorship. 

Two very interesting tours of the Culham fusion energy research facilities were provided by Culham staff, one of the MAST (Mega Amp Spherical Tokamak) facility and one of the Joint European Torus (JET) facility. The meeting organizers and attendees wish to thank Culham for providing this insight into their very important and essential research.
